Upgraded to the 12.3 and looking to sell the original 12.2 from my 25-31PC+.
Never overdriven or bottomed out. Great for replacement, DIY project or possibly car sub?
Asking $75 plus shipping from 98374.

I am interested, as I have been thinking of DIY-ing a Sonosub. I will let you know for sure in the next few days. How much do you think shipping will be to 94536. Also, do you take paypal ?
Would you be able to pass on some details of specs of the sub I might need for DIY-ing this ? I am extremely new to DIY subs, but there are several threads I have read which are very encouraging. The most critical info seem to be T/S (I dont even know what that means), the enclosure volumes and the port lengths.
I dont mean to thread-hijack, if you consider this off-topic, let me know- I shall delete.

Shipping shouldn't be too bad. Let me know your preferred carrier and I'll get a quote. I think I can do paypal through my wife's business acct. I'll check.
I am by no means an expert on DIY subs. This would be a great driver for a Sonosub. It's the same one used in all 3 of the SVS tube subs, the 25-31, 20-39 and the 16-46. The taller the tube, the lower the extension. You'll have to research all the porting issues......No worries about the hijack, it's all good. -
if you can find plans for a 142L vented box, this thing works like a charm. I should know, I use one.
if this falls through, and you can wait a few weeks. let me know, I might grab this off yaLiving Room 2 Channel -

Hey ken, let me know how much it will be on the cheapest form of shipping to 94536, all inclusive thru paypal. I am assuming we dont need insurance, since by default its covered till 100$.

I'd like to see your DIY sub. Are you on the System Showcase? I didn't find it if you are... -

yeah, it's waay down on the list though. it's the Ottoman sub. about a 22-23" cube box, down firing, and upholstered all the way around (done by the wife)
if whoever picks this up and wants plans, I might be able to dig em up somewhere. It was Adire Audio (used to make the Shiva driver and others) if they are still around. they called it there EBS allignment box, whatever that means. i just noticed the outer dimentions and interior volume matched the SVS PB12+ box to a T, so i did the swap. WOW. I'll die with this sub. upgrade not needed.Living Room 2 Channel -

I use the SVS 12.1 driver in my 22" cubed vented subwoofer box. this thing is incredible. so powerful and low extension. Looks great too when I have the grill off.. shows a nice silver driver.PolkFest 2012, who's going>?

I always wondered why all of the Plus series were downfiring. Can't see the "bling". -

Azi-
UPS site says out for delivery. Please let me know that you rec'd it OK.
Oh, and be sure to post pic's of your DIY project once you get started.
Enjoy! -
Thank you received. I am going to leave feedback.
Quick question- on teh speaker terminals- how do I identify which ones +ve ? I didnt see any markings- was there any ?
I know I could connect it to a 12v battery- for teh +ve terminal, it shoudl cause teh woofer to move forward- hoping there is a more convenient way.

Great, glad you got it OK. You never know with UPS.
As far as the terminals, I'd be guessing. I thought they were colored red and black but maybe I'm thinking of the new driver. The battery would work or you could call SVS, I'm sure they could tell you.
Have fun with your project. I'll leave feedback as well.
