My new SDA-1Cs - Oak

I scored these today. 420 miles and 6 hours later they are home and sound great. The oak is in excellent shape but the side panals need to be reworked mainly because the glue is letting go. No biggie and a project for another day.

Grills are 100%, no snags or holes, for that matter neither do the side panels, damn 22 year old glue.

Very solid 1 family owner set of SDAs. Original owner gave them to his brother who needed money for a drafting table and other school supplies. He had the Polk cable but did not have it hooked up.

The SL-2000s are some of the best looking I have seen but they come out when I pull the RDOs from the 1C Studios and they will get the mortite treatment.

Oh, PR push test passed and no shifted magnets from the trip home, whewww. The road between Dallas and AUstin is pretty rough, especially south of Waco.

    If there is any it might be bass but since I have not mortited the Oaks its is hard to say. So I would so no there is not a huge difference.

    I use to think the RDO's were not much of an upgrade over the SL-2000's but now I retract that. Probably do a swap out tomorrow night, mortite this weekend and start taking the side panels off.
