RC65i as Surround to LC265i
Hi,
New to the Polk forums and while I have searched the forums (and the web) I can't seem to find any info that will help me with the following.
I'm currently in the process of renovating my rec room for use as a HT. The room is fairly small (14'9"L x 13'4"W x 7'9"H) and I would therefore like to use an in-wall setup if possible. Use will be almost exclusively for movies with little if any pure music listening.
I have a great opportunity to purchase 3 LC265i that I would use as L/C/R in my new HT 7.1 setup. From the same source I can also get RC65is at cost +10% which I was thinking as using for side and back surrounds, A few questions:
1) is the RC65i suitable to be used as surrounds for these mains? The receiver I'm going to use as Audyssey MultEQ so I'm hoping that will compensate for any major issues considering the nominal amount of information presented through these channels.
2) I can't seem to find enclosures for the RC65i. I will need to avoid sound leaking into adjacent rooms. If enclosures are not offered (they don't seem to be) can I construct my own or am I asking for trouble considering the RC65i uses "infinite baffle"?
3) Do you think the bass I'll get out of the LC265i will be adequate for a room of this size or will I need a sub or subs? Seeing as the rec room is down to studs right now I'll likely wire for them anyway but I'm just not sure what to expect.
4) assuming I need a sub I also can get the CSW155 at cost+10. Would this be acceptable? Seeing as this sub has no amp is it possible to wire it from the receiver directly or must I get the SWA500 amp? If I do need a sub and I'm forced to get the SWA500 I'll likely lean towards using a stand alone sub. In this case how would a PSW125 or PSW111 match?
Sorry for all the questions. I'm hoping to make these decisions within the next day or so as I'll need to mount enclosures or pre-construction brackets before the drywall guy shows up in a week.

Any help or ideas anyone? -
Any answer to whether the csw155 requires the swa500 amp or can it be wired directly to an Onkyo RC160?
