i need to move my speakers in the the next hour and i just picked one up and the stands i built for them are stuck to the bottoms. i painted them with spray paint and let them dry under a heat lamp for around 4 days. could this be the reason for them being stuck? it has been around 2 years since i made the stands.
they are monitor 10b's.
any quick help would be great.

Probably the paint, no quick way that wont damage them that I can think of.

like a bandage on a cut that healed

spray paint takes like a month to fully dry sometimes, and sometimes longer depending on how many coats and how thick. maybe if you sat them in the sun for a while, or just moved them with the stands attached?

i bent down to look at the edge to see if there was a side that was not stuck so i could try to startpulling that side off, and found that the speakers were lifted off the stand. i had forgotten that somebody had stuck some real thin foam in 4 places of each bottom. i just pulled a little harder and they came off without a problem.
thanks anyway,

Good news and watch that spray paint. It can be nasty stuff.
