Tversity and PS3 and XBOX 360

I've been trying to get TVersity up and running lately. I've got it streaming to my PS3, but it stalls a lot. I have the PS3 hard wired to my router, not wireless. I've been having issues getting the 360 to connect with the router, so I'll just D-Link's CS to resolve that.

Does anyone else have any issues with Tversity stalling? I'm on Comcast cable modem.

Please help...the kids are getting on my everlast nerve to get this up and going.

I have found TVersity to slow to stream DVD or HD video. Everything else seems ok. I'm using PS3 and 2.5 DSL. I recently switched to a program called PS3 media server that streams much better. Not perfect either but better.

I haven't run that, but have had issues streaming on the PS3 from my DSL. I think Fongolio has pretty much identified the problem.

i run tversity and ps3 media server on the same machine and dont have problems with either to the ps3.. I havent tried my xbox. Ill give it a try later tonight.. we are supposed to get a boatload of snow in KC soon so Ill have some downtime..

What does your DSL have to do with anything. Everything is done on your LAN. I know tversity can stream through your router so you can get to your data from outside your house.. But DLNA to the PS3 or XBOX has to be on the same subnet.

I'm not on DSL. Broadband cable.

Yeah I could never get Tversity to work correctly for me. I always use the WMP11 setup to play my files. Works just fine for XBOX and PS3.

You may also want to read this thread and try out the google one.

Nothing of course. I meant to type 2.5 DSL modem/wireless router combo.
