Monitor 12b & MB Quart Domain Center match?

Hi everyone,

I know this may be a bit on the sacrilegious side, but I've been looking to find a good center channel timber match for my 12b's and I've not had much luck. Does anyone have any experience with MB Quart, specifically the Domain series? I believe that they are from the same era and was led to believe that they (Polk & Quart) were fairly similar. I've recently seen a Quart Domain Center on ebay that looks nice, but I don't really have a good sense of how well it would mate with my 12's. I tried the Polk site that matches up older speakers with newer ones, but I'm thinking that 27 years difference might be a bit much to overcome.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Kevin

I had found this a while back on the Polk Audio web site regarding matching centers, surrounds and subs to older Polk speakers.
