Anyone else like this place?

Seems to me that they are a 'premier' fast food place. I like going there just because its nice to get fast food and actually have some sort of customer service. Ever notice if you want a refill, their response is always 'my pleasure.'

Sorry, I'm bored and got breakfast there this morning and was thinking about it.

Truett Cathy is a good man who had a good business plan. He is generally credited with creating the chicken sandwich.

I just had a 12-pack of nuggets for my second supper tonight. The nuggets are usually pretty good to really good, especially with their buffalo sauce, but their grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, provolone, and bacon (without the packet of sauce they give you) is GREAT!

I grew up on that stuff! :D Even ate at a Dwarf House a couple of times. CFA is one of the few places in Tucson that you can actually get real sweet tea. The lemonade is also homemade everyday.

Have you tried their new Chick-fil-a sauce? It is wonderful with nuggets or strips.

The calenders crack me up! This year's is an especailly good one.

    I love their food.

Every few weeks they run a promotion where they have free breakfast entree's. Whenever I hear it's running I go there every morning and get the chicken biscuit with egg added. The promotion is the reason I tried Chic Fil A's breakfast in the first place.

I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!

They're actually closed on Sundays because the founder is very religious. From Wikipedia :
Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy is a devout Southern Baptist who has taught Sunday School for over 51 years and whose religious beliefs permeate the company to this day. The company's official statement of corporate purpose says that the business exists "to glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us and to have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A." The chain invests heavily in community services (especially for children and teenagers) and scholarships. Cathy's beliefs are also responsible for one of the chain's distinctive features: All Chick-fil-A locations (company-owned and franchised, whether in a mall or freestanding) are closed on Sundays.
“ Our decision to close on Sunday was our way of honoring God and directing our attention to things more important than our business. If it took seven days to make a living with a restaurant, then we needed to be in some other line of work. Through the years, I have never wavered from that position. „

    —S. Truett Cathy [5]

Good food, tho. Love the waffle fries.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I dont eat a whole lot of popeye's because they seem to be a little on the expensive side...and we dont have a whole lot here.

But what really keeps me coming back is their outstanding customer service. And its not just one or two stores...its all of them. Everyone always seems happy, like they want to be there...and are all willing to go the extra mile to help you out in any way.

They are also way less likely to mess up your order than any other place I've been to.

If you do have one open up near you, something like the first 100 people in the door get free chic fil a for a year. People camp outside of them and stuff...crazy!

Traded White Castle for Chik-fil-A when I made the move from Louisville to Atlanta. I really miss the former, as Krystals can suck it.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. I've grown up eating Krystals and prefer them over White Castle sliders. Whatever you are used to I guess.

I remember in my college days after a long night of...recreation...standing in line with the folks wanting breakfast at 5 or 6 AM ordering a breakfast that consisted of 10 krystals with extra onions, large fries and a large chocolate shake with NO onions (we thought we were funny as hell when we said that...but we weren't). Good times.

Yeah... it's definitely a regional thing because I've never known a native to cross state lines, so to speak.
$4.20 for a sack of sliders. You can guess the demographic White Castle was targeting.
