This listing is for a Sunfire TGA 7200 Theater Grand Amplifier with Silver Faceplate purchased new in January from an authorized dealer that is in like new condition. This is a 7 x 200 amp that includes balanced and unbalanced inputs.

$1695.00 plus shipping

This is one of the best and coolest running amps Ive had. I unboxed this amp, put it on an open shelf on my rack, made the connections and didnt move until I recently disconnected it and boxed it up. This amp was used in a kid, pet and smoke free environment and looks and performs as good as new.

This amp will be shipped in its original box Fedex and include all original packaging and accessories.

The TGA-7200 can pro duce 200 watts rms per channel into 8 ohms, and 400 watts rms into 4 ohms. The big breakthrough is the uncanny tracking downconverter, which uses 18 Herculean Mosfets in the TGA-7400 and the TGA-7200. This allows the amplifi er to produce phenominal power output, without the heat generated by conventional designs. The circuit boards are heavy glass epoxy, double sided, with a Faraday shield on the back side. All resistors in the signal path are 1% tolerance, metal-fi lm. Critical ca pac i tors are fi lm devices with high dielectric strength and ultra low absorption characteristics. An enor mous power source built around a massive power transformer provides the ultimate muscle for limitless dynamics.

i have plenty of feedback on audiogon and videogon under the same username for anyone that wants to check it out

thanks for accusing before asking and for spending this much time in a thread for an amp you are clearly not interested in

I did rush to 10 so I could send a personal message regarding the Rotel amp I was looking at because i didnt want to post an offer or talk money in the thread

excuse me for checking out the forums last night after registering late the night before and adding my two cents....dont you guys have anything better to do

for anyone interested feel free to check my feedback on audiogon and videogon under the same username if you are concerned about buying from someone new to the forum that didnt meet the unspoken guidelines of the above two members before listing an ad...jeez

if you guys have an issue you should be sending me a personal message instead of putting it in the ad

Max, if you hang around a little, or read enough of older threads with similar situations, you will soon discover that here at Club Polk the members look out for each other. The Flea Market is usually a very safe place to buy and sell, and that is partly because of this unspoken rule. You read the rules about twenty-five posts, and decided to circumvent the spirit of the rule by adhering merely to the strictist interpretation of the rule. The unspoken implication of this rule is that you really need to stick around for a while, post more than one sentence statements, and get to know at least some of the members before rushing into a sale.

Now, as far as buying the Rotel goes, people who join because they are interested in something frequently post an actual message in the FS thread stating just what you have been saying already (I'm new, I don't have the post count for PM's, I like your gear and you can check my feedback on xxxxx under this screen name).

It's really just common sense and common courtesy, if you think about it! Surely you are not in such a big hurry to sell your stuff that you cannot abide by these principles? Surely they seem sensible enough?

Welcome to Club Polk! And one last thing: I am still mostly just a newbie here myself. It takes quite a long time to get accepted as an established member. There are some shortcuts, such as successful purchase transactions, offering up stuff for karma, going to a Polk Fest is a biggie, but meeting other members in general will help too, contribution of useful information and sharing your experiences ... It's not that hard, but jumping in for a sale is not one of the shortcuts :o!
    Alea jacta est!

for the record i did post in the thread for the Rotel (my first post) and did state that I was new to the site but did not want to talk numbers in the thread so after getting some initial information back from the seller I wanted to send him a personal message

at the time I registered here I thought the Sunfire was sold so I wasnt even thinking of listing it here

can we all move on now

"***Lowball offers and members with zero feedback will be ignored. Payment is by Paypal only and shipping is to US only***"

Took this from your Audiogon ad. So my guess is that you do understand why some people don't like to deal with newcomers.

because i would like to use a 2 channel amp with the receiver for music but I dont want to spend a lot which is why I was initially looking at a used Rotel 1070 but Id prefer to get the 1080 for its Bi-wiring capability

you guys are amazing, at what point did I say I didnt understand?

if you ever sold stuff on Audiogon you would know that a lot of users there with zero feedback are scammers that want to pay with money orders and ship to Africa so its always good to clarify

    Agree with Metal.

Read the rules fellas, not interested ignore. If you had, this thread would already be out of sight & forgotten.

This crap happened all the time until Justin cracked down. Then these threads simply disappeared shortly after they appeared. So ignoring works. Try it & you'll see.

Ya, ignoring works. If I didn't ignore certain advice about minumum power requirements, I wouldn't own any of my NAD amps (2700, 270, and a 2150), or my HK receivers (495i, 3480 and 2 3270s), or my Marantz 1060 integrated...can't wait to get into tubes and ignore some more.
