I haven't actually had any of those, but I bet I've had other things that weren't any better. Knowing it can be scary, and there are some very surprising numbers sometimes. I wonder about Starbucks cakes too ... I don't eat them all that often (too much sugar for my taste) but I would not be surprised if there were a few big surprises there too.

I'm sorry, that one's kinda stupid. 1000 calories for a dinner isn't all that outrageous (a typical diet is 2500 calories a day), and using Hershey Kisses as a measuring stick is silly. Not saying the burrito is healthy, but compared to some of the other stuff on here this one struck me as a bit silly.

If I'm eating at one of those joints, I ain't too worried about calories and where they are coming from. I wondering where my milkshake is and how hard is it to make a hamburger for cripes sake? I mean, c'mon, really? Really? I gave you 5 dollars and a quarter, the bill was 5.15, gimmie a dime and we're square! No, you don't have to talk to your manager, you need to gimme mah dime and a sammich! Ah hell! Gimmie the quarter, here's a buck! Thank you for my pocket full of change now.

I don't think its the calories so much as the fat content and the sheer amount of sodium.

Knowing something is "bad" for you is abstract; seeeing numbers to back that up really makes it easier to visualize WHY it is bad for you, and how bad it is.

Wow, reading all those calorie counts from them other restaurants makes me glad I stick with McDonald's!

1/4 pounder w/o cheese, large fries and, of course, a diet coke to wash it all down.

    hmmmm, the healthy alternative.

the sad thing is this is the type of fast food people feed their kids all the time.

I would like to see what the average American foods are for a whole week for a family of 4. Mom and dad both work... kids are middle school or Jr high age and active in extra activities. Have a pet dog, cat and some other fuzzy unknown rodent.

I can agree to that, but, judging by the lines at fast food joints,I conclude that people really don't give 2 craps about it.More so younger people, because they burn it off easier....most of them anyway, not the ones who go home and sit infront of the tv for 5 hours.
