my family and I am visiting my other side of family in cincinnati this week, I am wondering where can I go to good home theater place to shop (that carry polk stuff other than at best buy)? I looked up and found few, i am wondering if any of you cincinnatians know any other good place I could check out, perhaps Dayton, Newport Ky (Doubtful), Florence Ky?

http://www.audibleelegance.com Doesn't carry polks but might be worth a visit.

Steer clear of Mason, OH. A certain polkie with an affinity for Emo is known to fequent those parts.

Go to Skyline Chili and get a threeway. I can't attest to the quality of their sound system but man they have good chili. I grew up in the Cincy area and always head to Skyline first.
McIntosh MA252 Integrated Amp, LUMIN D2 Network Music Player, Yamaha Aventage RX-A840 receiver, Emotiva XPA Gen3 2 channel amp, Polk LSiM 703 speakers. Oppo UDP-203 Blu-Ray player, Polk LSiM 705 speakers. Polk Signature S20 speakers.

When are you leaving? If you're around this weekend you could come hear some polks and feel some SVS.

Mason, 20 miles north of the river. Let me check with the wife what she has planned and I'll PM you tomorrow.

BTW, I don't know of any decent place to go audition anything; I know there are a couple or three but I've never been to them.

For the HT I have RTi8's, CSi5 and some JBL's for surrounds. Powered by Denon receiver (sorry, no 200 WPC amps). The sub is an SVS 20-39 PC Plus.

In the 2 channel room I would have to go down and see what's there today ;)

I'll PM you tomorrow, but Saturday afternoon is a possibility.
