RTi 70 or LS50?
I've got a chance to possibly pick up a set of either LS50s or RTi 70s. The price is approx. equal. My question is in regards to the opinions of those who have heard both. Which is the more musical speaker? I do a lot of HT, but music is my main interest. These will be running with either 1 or 2 PSW 450s as well, so bass shouldn't (I hope) be lacking. I will be listening to some rock and electronica, but mostly jazz and classical. The room itself is about 22x24, with a ceiling that slants up to about 18 ft. at the highest. It opens into a hall that goes to the back of the house, but I can shut a door that will close off the back area of the house.
While I intend to listen to both, from my lurking here, there seem to be a number of rather knowledgeable folks around, and while the LS50s are technically higher-end, they're also, I think, older, and developments do tend to filter down the line.
TIA
