Polk CS10vs20 center?

I got a great deal on a Klipsch cinema 6 system before looking into HT much. My Denon AVR789 is 7.1 so added TSi 400 Towers as fronts, but they seem to over power the RCX3 Klipsch center. I can get a great deal on a RCX4, but everything I hear says to match the front soundstage with the same "timberd" center. Looking at CS10/1 or CS20/2. I also find the TSi series "dissed" to a certain degree(this piss's me off) even more! I cant seem to find out a good review on whether it will be a good move to go with Polk centers and even if the CS10/20 are any good? Well polkies have at er if you will?

I bought a pair of Polk Audio CS10's this past weekend but took them back. To be clear however it was an out of the box display model that I think someone abused prior to me buying them for a real hott price ($125). I ended up buying the Deinitive ProCenter 1000 Center Speaker that was an Open Box special. Wow you must listen to one at Magnolia at BB. I paid only $150 for mine with the Open Box discount.

I also wanted to say I am a big fan of Polk Audio so don't miss read my paragraph and get confused. I am sure if I paid full price for a CS10 new in the box I would still own one. I needed to stretch my cash out so I was shopping for Out of the Box and Open Box deals that had a take an additional 25% off this weekend at my local BB. Good luck and let us know how you made out.
PS: I ended up with Definitive ProCenter 1000 because the founder of the company was part owner of Polk Audio once. They said the Definitive Technology speakers were compatable with my Polks -
The TSi series is pretty much the same as the Monitor series (TSi has temporarily "replaced" the Monitor series) I have Monitor 70's as my fronts (TSi 500's) and I use a CS2 (CS20) and they play very well together. My CS2 is a perfect match for mt Monitors and you won't find a better Polk center channel for the Monitor/TSi series, especially for the price. I would recommend getting the CS2 (CS20) to best match your TSi 400's, IMO the CS1 (CS10) would probably be overpowered by your 400's even if it was cranked all the way up. There isn't much difference in price (I attached links below to both) the CS20 is $200 at Newegg with free shipping and the CS10 is $180 at JR with free shipping. For the extra $20 I would spring for the CS20 if it were me.

The CS2 is pretty much the same as the CS20, the CS2 is a match for the Monitor series and the CS20 is a match for the new TSi line. They are very similar spec. wise and the only diff. to the naked eye would be the CS20 gloss finish instead of the wood grain finish on the Monitor series. Also, typically speaking the CS2 is cheaper than it's "replacement" the CS20 because it is an older spreaker. What type of speakers do you already have that you are going to use it with, or are you putting a system together?HT Rig

I sent you an email since I cant send PM till I reach 10 posts. if you didnt get it this is what I wrote you, I'm not trying to hijack someone else thread ya know
Okay so this is what I am up to. Right now my reciever is a Pioneer VSX-917V and I have all sony speakers and a 12" sony sub hooked up. My Speakers include 4 bookshelf, one sub, a center and 2 of these little super small speakers.
I use movies through HDMI on my PS3 although my reciever doesnt do HDMI sound so I have optic cables hooked up and my tv is a Samsung 56" DLP 1080P.
From another forum people have suggested I upgrade my speakers to get better sound and so I have made my first purchase in terms of home audio speakers in over 8 years.
I bought 2 of these
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882290015
and one of these center ones
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882290024
I bought them from Newegg and it cost about $600.
I plan on buying 2-4 more floorstanding speakers to replace those Sony's I hooked up, the speakers are quite pricey so I cant go all out right now. It's a little hard to hear people talking right now with my setup....or I just have bad ears but I'm 27 so I don't think that's it. :P
Any suggestions?Home Theater:
