Audio Advisor finally shipped my order for some Audioquest Bare wire to BFA Banana adapters.

I had these on order since January, but they were back ordered for quite some time.

Well, this weekend I put them on a set of older Kimber 4PRS brown and black speaker wires at the amp end and also on a set of Interlink 16AWG wires that I had installed with my HT setup by the installation contractor who uses these for in-wall installation.

The adapters come with a mini allen wrench used to secure the adapters to bare wires. The inside channel is big enough to accept some fairly large gauge wire and the two allen screws are set apart to securely fasten a good 1/2" or so of stripped/exposed wire to the inside of the adapter.

The banana plugs themselves are beefy and fit quite nicely into the binding posts on the back of my Carver - a good solid secure fit and connection.

Now I can easy change out wires for when the mood strikes me to do some comparisons.

I have an extra set for when I get those Audioquest Type 4s headed my way.

I'd recommend these for those that hate bending, stooping, craning, and contorting one's body and fingers to get your speaker wires into your amp's binding posts -these are quick, efficient, and snug.
