That's a nice house. 2 car garage, & fenced in back yard, you should have no problem selling this thing. Especially after the winter you guys have had up there:p

The inventory levels for our town are down now and we have a house in a $$ range that should have strong demand for our town. There are a lot of $500k houses here with a high ranking school system so getting in at this price seems fair in relation to comparable homes. Generally speaking it's a town you'd "like" to live in.

The price/sq foot is slightly higher than the average but barely off prices from less than a year ago. Hoping to capitilize on low rates and be ahead of the curve as I think things are turning. (Hopefully) Guess I'm gonna find out. New house could = man room! Fingers crossed.

Westford, MA is a VERY nice town. I used to work in that area. If you're a skier, there's a small ski resort right THERE. It's also the home to 'Very Fine' fruit drinks, IIRC.

Anything and everything you could want. Westford is just a sneeze away from Boston:

    MIT
    Northeastern
    Boston University
    Boston College
    etc......

U-Mass @ Lowell is 20 minutes away. Based on the website, I'd say they're a full university, not just a satelite campus.
They even have a Nuke school:eek:

I'm familiar with that area and houses sell for much more than they would be worth in other parts of the country.

I lived in a similar area of N.J. for a year and couldn't afford anything. My current house would be worth over 500K in that area but about a fourth of that where I live. Isn't location, location, location a strange but TRUE fact in U.S. real estate.

Not a bad price for your area. Good Luck. Glad I'm not trying to sell in that market?

One of the best things is Fenway Park is about 30 minutes depending how fast you drive. Of all the places I have lived I've never driven with faster drivers than in the greater Boston area.

Tell me about it, my son works down there and everytime I drive down there it isn't just the SPEED it's that Boston drivers MAKE UP THEIR OWN RULES as they drive. So you've got to have 3 pairs of eyes, you don't know what they're going to do next. And they can come up with some CREATIVE choices. Then there are the endless ONE WAY streets designed to give you a veritable rubik's cube fit if you're trying to find something?

Most of the suburbs with superior schools are doing fine. In areas that are holding their value well, inventory is scarce. People are holding where the value is not dropping, . . sometimes getting a premium if they decide to sell. If they take that premium and equity, they can really jump up the ladder, without increasing the payment too much if at all.

When I drove an older car, I would: drive, read the map, clutch, shift, and be on 2 cell phone while smoking. It's better with the new car, it's not a stick:D
