Just for fun... Polk Monitor 7A docs

I was looking for something in the basement today (always a frightening task). I found a document I didn't even remember: the info sheet that came with my (demo) Monitor 7As when I bought 'em (ca. 1978). Thought I'd share them here FWIW.

I also found the original receipt from Soundscape for 'em. :-)

Very cool. I just saved these. I have a pair of 7A's, but none of the documentation/manuals for them. Thanks!:D

Mark - Can you PDF them to me? I think its about time we add some historical docs to the sticky area's.

Funny you should mention. I am working on a pictorial directory of Polk speakers including vintage Monitor, RTA, and SDA series so far. There are numerous variations of the different models and I'm trying to capture the differences.

Is there a way that I could post it and have it a living document that I can add info as it is obtained?

Yes, but then I'd have to edit it at every "obtained" so hell no. When you get whatever you're doing complete, then email me....for now, good luck. 75% of it exists already...its just a matter of getting it into an internet format.

Rock on Skrol! I see a Polk freebie in your future....

I was doing the EXACT same thing that Skrol is doing, and I was going to send it to you, but it seems he's a lot further along than I am.

Are multi page ads in Audio from early 90's useful to any one?

ANY ads, product pages, magazine reviews, actual product literature is useful here....if you can convert it to PDF Hi-Res....bring it.

I have a bunch of brochures, sales info and tech literature that I need to scan. What is the file size limit?

406 W. Coldspring Lane, Baltimore, MD. Polk's original dealer; almost within walking distance of Matthew's (and my) alma mater.
