Need some stands for recently purchased F/x 300s. I have a large window where the right rear would be mounted so wall mounting is out of the question. Does enyone have a recomendation for a stand that was "made" for these things. Don't want to risk the carpet crawlers just bumping into them and knocking them over.

Also has anyone paired a rear center speark with these things?

Thanks
Dave.

    David,
I bought a new cs245i for a center rear to go with my fx500's. The cs400 was an overkill. They sound awesome, the rear stage is seemless. I custom make all my speaker brackets, out of raw metal. They look very cool. Later:cool:

I put my FX500's on top of a pair of 48" tall 12" x 12" oak plant stand that I bought at unfinished furniture. These work absolutely great for surround speakers.

My family room and my kitchen is really one big common great-room. My rear surrounds (RT25i's) sit on top of my Maytag Fridge. I run the speaker wire under the house and up thru the floor at the stove, behind a kitchen cabinet, and up to the top of the fridge. Its an unusual setup. But, it places the rear surrounds 6' off the ground and 30" or so apart. Works for me.
