If you do a find search in the page for 5698 on that page, you'll see they're talking about Polk Acoustics - not PolkAudio - which might be a knockoff that might not be worth much. Perhaps PolkAudio used to be called Polk Acoustics and i'm just not familiar enough with Polk products - but maybe that might help you figure out what they are

And wouldn't the 3" be considered the tweeter?

That doesn't even remotely sound like LSi15.

But I suppose dreams are good to have.

    I don't know - 2 x 5" cones - a 3" cone - a 10" woofer - all of that matches the LSI-15s - the footprint is kinda close too

However, some of the specs are different - they are 4ohm for a start - but if you're dealing with someone that you're not sure they have all of the correct information or not - or are, like you said, hoping - i can see how one might hold out for the possibility

No dome tweeters and... actually I thought the woofer was 8".

But ya, no dome tweeters and 6ohm shoulda given it away.

The add only said polk towers with a built in sub. That's why i was hoping they were lsi 15's. I had to email him to get the specs and i figured out they weren't lsi 15 but was still curious to find out what they were.
