I just picked one of these up at the local pawn shop for just a few ( and I do mean 2) dollars more than I paid for lunch for just me at a sandwich shop. Everything seems to work fine, so did I get a good deal?

I used to have one of those....it's fun to experiment...you got a good deal.

    Enjoy it.

Well so far after the inital tweaking this makes the entire system sound much better, and seems to be much better than the sansui eq it replaced. Also figured out the "pink noise" button, its just basically static to tune by.

I just dont understand how you fine tune your music to your standards without one.

Awesome stuff. With a mic and some pink noise, you can totally flatten your in room response.

My Pioneer receiver which I use for HT has a 9 band eq and it makes quite a difference.

Yeah like anything you have to tweak it to your liking, It did sound real good with just bass and treble on the receiver but when I added the eq it made it sound better. Room treatment sounds good if you own your home but I dont.
Thats two hell of set ups you have there "organ" Pioneer was always good about putting eq in their receivers and adding one is easy with the tape 2 mon. How do you like your Klipsch? I used to love mine.
This EQ has a mic in and a pink noise button so might mess with that latter on, when I figure out how, lol
