A1 or A3 and stands

Pondering whether to get the RTi A1's or A3's for a conventional stereo setup in a small-to-medium room? Also, need stand recommendations for either, preferably something 26-28". thanks!

    Sandworms covered stands pretty well with the 3 companies he mentioned.

    As far as speakers for 2 ch I think the A3's hand down.

    I have a new set of rears comming next week (RTI6's), so I am going to make some stands. Where I live in Canada, the lines the local retailers use, don't really appeal to me. I think I can make better myself.

    It seems the typical top plates are usually only 6" x 6"...will that be large enough for the A3's, since they are so deep?
