Hi. I sold my old sda srs to one of my friend and he like to buy new amp for that set. There are two amp whit pre amp under 500.00 and we need help what will be the best one to go whit speakers. # one is adcom 5500 and other is DBX BX-3 whit CX-3. Thanks Roy

It does not matter a whit which amp he gets except the DBX (if I remember correctly) is a 4-channel unit that can be bridged to provide 3 or 2 channels; and if you bridge it--better make sure the SDA speakers and interconnect are compatible.
