Rt3000p?
Got a chance to buy a used, but like new pair of RT3000p locally. Going to audition them Sat., the 15th. What is the absolute most I should pay for them?
Haven't yet heard them, but they sure look awesome!
How would they compare to the RTi150 or LSi25 for mostly movies and rock music?
Thanks in advance!

How do they compare ? All you have to do is look at them. What you see is what you get. Just remember at one point they were the flagship. Get the right power, and we would have to pry them from your cold dead hands. This is a basement speaker if I ever saw one. I've never heard them. I just know they go way beyound the space thier in. You need cylinder blocks to keep that kind of sound in. Brick foundation, and sound correction. I would have brought them . Cost and size, are an issueJmasterJ Polk to the Death

With the RT line - looks say it all. The 3000's were the largest of the line. Rt55's on top of two 8" powered subs. They ROCK!!!

I've been thinking very seriously about it, would it really be an upgrade over the RT1000i PLUS a dedicated sub or 2?

Only in shear volume - with the 3000's, amplification will play a big role. More power in the mid range area.
