Great Concert

So I went to see Aaron Lewis (frontman for Staind) in Durham on Feb 18th. Great freaking show, he takes requests from the audience and plays them out. He managed to get in a few tracks like Signs from Tesla (was great when the lead singer came out from the curtains and sang it with him), and even Bring the noise by Anthrax/Public Enemy.

But the one that really grabbed me was at the end. He does these shows unplugged, essentially him, two guitars and a mic. At the end of the show he actually got up and sat on the monitors in front of the mic, completely bypassing the mic all together, and belted out this track, with no amplification what so ever. This show was at the Durham Performing Arts Center, which isnt huge, but is in no way small. I just happened to find a clip of his last song at the show and though I would share, as its one of the greatest concert experience's I've had.

Warning, he does use the F word twice in the song, so probably not work/young family safe.

If you've had any great moments let us know, I'm sure I could relate a few more experience's, but this one is nice and fresh. :D

Once again we meet at last.

Aaron Lewis is a great vocalist, And song writer. Glad you had a great time. I have seen Staind twice GREAT SHOW. the best thing Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit) ever did was bring them to light.

Well one good way to prove your not lip-synching, I have liked his vocals since Mudshovel.

I was at a Chris Botti concert one time and at one point he simple unplugged the mic from his horn and went to the front of the stage and just played. I have seen him 8 times and that was the first time that I've seen him unplugged.
