That CAN'T be true; must be some audio nut that did this just for the fun of it; probably posted his link in the forums he frequents._________________________________________________

I think it's a great idea. You will not only get burnt, but you may learn a valuable lesson in high voltage.Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

I carefully removed the glass on each tube to clean both sides as all the tops had silver inside blocking view of tubes light now the tubes have no glass but may still work.
He has eight of them! Holy moly... -
Who needs the glass anyway. I say run them in "free, open" air . Sort of like a "convertible" tube.
The question is did he test them before or after he removed the glass? Also this is what OCD gets you.........having to clean the inside glass on your tubes.
H9"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. I think it's because you're supposed to open them up occasionally and vacuum them out, right?? -

Clearly, the only remaining vacuum, is between the seller's ears.
