Which "The Punisher" movie do you like the most? Who was the most baddest **** Frank Castle??

The Punisher (1989) - Dolph Lundgren

The Punisher (2006) - Thomas Jane

The Punisher: War Zone (2008) - Ray Stevenson

I VOTE for 1989's The Punisher with Dolph. It was badass, and voted for second best, with Thomas Jane. I saw the new one today and thought it was allright, fun but prefer the 1989 one better.
I am 100% BORN DEAF and No I am not kidding! :D Why am I here? My wife's hearing! :p

I know people hated on it... but man, Punisher: War Zone was AWESOME to me. He beat Lundgren and Jane hands down, and the over-the-top violence was perfect for this movie. I went into it with suitably low expectations, and I loved it.

I just finished watching the Punisher: War Zone. I thought the acting was horrible, worst acting I have seen in a recent movie for quite some time. Just listening to most of the dialog was hard.

Had it not been for the over the top violence, I probably would have turned this off. But.......The action/violence one me over and I stayed along for the bloody ride..lol

I personally liked the 2006 version the best.
    The 1989 version second best.
And the 2008 version the least, but I certainly loved the action. :D

I'm running RTi70 mains, CSi40 center, RTi28 surrounds, with a SVS 20-39CS+ sub (dB12.3 woofer) and Buttkicker LFE running off of a Samson 1,000w rackmount amp. The bass was INSANE in Punisher: War Zone, and I was at like -15dB from reference.

Worst I've seen in a long time. What a stupid movie. Some nice sound, but it was so bad that it was comical (IMO)

I had high hopes for this movie, at least thought it would be better than the two previous attempts.

Maybe I didn't play the game enough to truly enjoy the gratuitous violence, but it almost seemed like a parody of bad action movies at time. Terrible acting, terrible plot, totally over the top. Everyone's head exploded upon contact.

I think I watched 45 minutes and then returned without finishing, and I typically will watch all of even the worst movies.

Just my 2 cents, though. I probably like a bunch of movies that would make most people's "worst ever" list.

There certainly wasn't much meat on this bone. Too bad, I really enjoy Ray Stevenson. If you guys ever watched the HBO series "Rome", he played Titus Pullo, a terrific character and a real badass. He's a very engaging actor, but this role, while he looked the part, was only 1.5 dimensional. Audio and picture quality were excellent and from what I gather, many of the scenes were lifted straight from the "hard" Punisher comics. However, the character really is too dark and stark to pull for and the revenge centric backstory has been done to death.

This took terrible to a new low. Very bad! I had high hopes too, because of the successful re-invention of the Hulk.

One of the things that really made this hard to watch was the freakin' lighting. Every scene looked like it was shot in Spencers Gifts in the mall. Wierd blue, red, and gold lighting. Didn't work at all.
