Hi, I have one of these I bought with my SDA-1C speakers when new, Never used it, never had to. Just wondering what the value of this is. And does anyone really need one anyway? I have used my Polk's with a ton of different amp's and receivers and never needed it. I just use the regular cable. I hope the pics attach to this, I guess it can only be used with bridged amp's maybe.. I do not anything about, What is the main difference other than the little box in the middle of the cable?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank's,
Mike

I find this interesting.. "all models of SDA 2B require an adaptor for use with this cable.. plus crossover modifications." Never heard of that one before.. the 2B needs x-over mods to use this cable. but no other SDA requires those mods.

I recall reading a post somewhere on this forum about that... it's something to do with the crossover (not) being grounded to the negative binding post... not an issue really, since the 2B's are very efficient speakers and don't need bi-or-dual amping, imo...

These are know to be toxic and harmful to the owner ;) I have all of the proper disposal gear and will only charge you $25 to come over and remove it from your house :D:D:D

I had to stop bidding on the one at eBay at $125.00 due to monetary constraints. I'd like to have one around that price range as my SDA-2B's can make use of it with some simple wiring mods as mentioned above.
