Polk Audio and speaker building....

I have always wondered this and tonight I'm finally just gonna blurt it out. My question(s), that is......
When Polk Audio is developing their speakers........do they use tube amps or SS amps to help in the development and refinement of their speakers?
What kind of wattage or specification requirements do they use and what type of gear do they use? Is there a standard amp for all speakers being developed or is it a constant revolving thing that changes with each speaker prototype?
Are they using a standard outlet or refined power?
I'm just curious and if this is in anyway infringing upon privileged or proprietary information, I understand. The curiosity factor is killing me though. Thanks for any input.
