I have covered a LOT of ground upgrading since I jumped back into this this 25+ year hobby with both feet, just 4 short months ago. I've compressed 20 years of waiting into 1 business quarter!

My SDA-2B's and SDA SRS 2's have BOTH been completely updated with Cardas, Sonicaps, Mill Resistors, New RDO198-1's, Mortite, Dynamat, Teflon/Kaptan Silver- coated oxygen-free copper Interconnects. I've bought extra crossovers, MW6503's, MW6509's and SW120's for the shelf in case of accident.

I've bought a second NAD 1700 preamp/tuner / NAD 2600A amp in addition to my original NAD 7600 receiver to drive the second set of speakers.

I've bought 2 new NAD 5425 CD players and a new cassette deck.

I've bought a second Thorens TD-145, new Shure and Stanton (681 EEE MK II), Herbies Way Excellent II Mat and The Clamp plus a Thorens TD-160 that I'm going to sell also because I like the 145's auto sto feature better.

I've bought 2 sets of Ben's Silver IC's that are in play and gone completely through Monster, Anyalsis Plus, MIT EXp-1, AVT-2 and now landed on Shotgun 2.

When times are better I will be in the hunt for tube gear and moving again up the MIT ladder so the Shotgun 2's now in play will also go up for sale then .

Those in the group who warned me this is "slippery slope", "rabbit hole" and "devil on your shoulder" hobby sure hit that one on the head !!! :eek: :eek:

I have not seen this caliber of 2 meter cable available at this price, but I'm going to drop it down to about the 1 meter level of $595 per pair or best offer.

We can also mix some IC's with the 10' Shotgun Speaker cables I have in another thread and talk about a better package price.
