I'll bet the members of the Club Polk Sushi Eaters Society are sitting at home salivating right now, with drool running down their chins as they contemplate the yumminess of it all !! :eek:Sal Palooza

I was at a dinner where one of the dishes was fresh shrimp. Little did I know when they said "fresh", they meant "live".
Major Yuck! Can you image putting the shrimp crawling away in your mouth? -
Octopus or Tako as we call it here is delicious. I eat it all the time, although I've always ate it thoroughly cooked. Raw and moving around on the plate like that is a little too extreme, even for me.
The ink is an acquired taste.
Octopus is good though. Alot like squid. But there is a flavor difference. Octopus tends to be more "gamey". Kinda like the difference between a farm raised chicken and a game hen.Expert Moron Extraordinaire

I love octopus raw, steamed, stewed, or in a salad. I cook it every Christmas Eve with the "Feast of the Seven Fishes."

Ok, no. It's not alright. THAT is bad.

That sounds about as appetizing as deep dish Yak dick.~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~

But I can tell ya now, this tako and sashimi is some good eatin and a lot healthier for ya. Don't knock it until ya at least try it.
I just look at it this way: if it's healthier to eat something cooked versus something raw, it must be even less healthy to eat something that's still alive. -
