Help Me...Help A Friend...

One of my buddies from work is interested in getting some outdoor speakers. Him and his wife have a hot tub in their backyard and are dying for some tunes. I told him about Polk Audio Direct and the deals on the Atrium speakers, so he's considering those.

The thing is, he's looking for some device that he can hook his Ipod up to, but also hook the Atrium speakers up to as well. Something small (as in not quite as big as an AVR) that he can stuff in a closet in his mudroom.

Any recommendations on any such device?

Here ya go Metal, I bought one of these for a friend to power his outdoor speakers. There is a L/R line out for daisy-chaining multiple amps.
