RTi A3's - Wow!

I purchased a pair of RTi A3's a few weeks ago to start building a 2 channel rig. The plan was to migrate away from my HT stuff, but after hearing a movie through them in stereo, I was blown away and ordered a CSi A4 from Polk Direct! For my original 2 channel purpose, they are just amazing to listen to.

I considered the LSi 9's, but my Denon AVR would not drive them and the cost of a new amp+speakers in one shot was too much. I suppose once I get better electronics I may want to upgrade (?), but for now, these are one heck of a speaker!
2-Channel:
Pro-Ject Debut III
Oppo DV-980H
Rogue Cronus (Magnum)
Totem Mites

You know, when i sold my RTi10's, and was waiting for my A7's, i used my A3's up front for a little while.
I was honestly pretty surprised at how great they sounded.

How much better are the A9's than the RTi10's? I'm thinking about upgrading my 10's someday when A9 prices come down.

    I wouldn't know, i don't have the A9's. :(

But the A7's seemed to be a nice improvement over the 10's, not quite as bright. The sound was better overall, maybe due to the cabinet. And they just look a hell of a lot better too!

I upgraded from the A1's to RTi6 which are the older A3's and was really surprised at the difference. I actually had to upgrade to the CSiA6, the A4 just felt like it was missing some base compared with the A3's, I think the A6 pairs really well with them.
