Do we agree these are Polks?

I am the buyer pending pickup on Saturday. Look like they're Monitor 7s or 10s to my eyes... I didn't want to ask questions in case the seller wanted an easier sale. If they're not Polks, I might just tear 'em up to play around with drivers and crossovers. Never dived too deep into that stuff before.

    Would be easier if there were pics without the grill... but they do seem to fit the profile of a 10... Maybe 10A?

    I don't know...you can see the drivers through the grille somewhat, and it looks like the MW is to high up to be a Monitor 10. They could be though...you can't get a real good view of them.

    For 20 bucks though, there's not much to lose. If they're not Polks...they'd probably make some good garage speakers or something along those lines.

    Pretty sure those are 10A's due to the shape and edge of the wood.

    I think F1nut is correct...After looking at them more the edge of the wood looks different than my old 10A's. Good catch!

    I don't think that they are Polks either. Can you e-mail the seller and ask for more info and photos?

    Yeah, I e-mailed her. After looking a little closer, it does kind of look like there are offset drivers. I thought I was finding the deal of the month. :\

    In the close up of the grille, you can see that the edge of the baffle is black too...I've never seen a Monitor series speak that has a black edge like that.
