I believe this was talked about in another thread.
But still, that's pretty cool! Nice looking place too!

    Metal83 is right,

There was a pretty big thread on this a while back that got pretty amusing with some of the 'old-timers' foaming at the mouth and even joking about Liam sneaking onto the forums here under an anonymous name...perhaps even participating in the very thread about him....shades of French cinema!

But yeah, it's a nice looking system and room regardless.

I'm more of a Darkman guy than a Star Wars fan.

    RTiA7 and CSiA6..... cool

Now i can tell my friends that i basically use the same speakers that Liam Neeson uses. I'm sure plenty of movie stars use Bose so maybe that's not saying much.

The only thing I dont like in the setup is the Runco projector, overpriced crap IMHO. A Sony VW80, HW10, Epson, JVC, Panasonic 3000U will best it any day of the week. Its like the Monster Cable of Projectors. Nice system overall.

at least it wasnt one of those HD 1080p "compatible" projectors you see on ebay that have a native resolution of 320x280 or whatever

I hate to say this, but for a guy that makes $3M a picture, that's pretty much a budget setup.

Well based on the article it sounds like he is in the same dilemma as most guys...... he was fortunate just to talk his wife out of using in-wall speakers. Regardless if you earn $3000/month or $3M/picture, i guess the circumstances are more or less the same!

Ney! Sounds like a shrewd shopper after optimum value! ;)

Now, if he were an audio critic and professional reviewer we may scoff at his setup, but if he is an 'average' listener this may suit his needs just fine.

I get the impression that Liam knows what he likes and isn't all about gold toilets and high end HT just to say he has high end.

And...it does speak to the SQ to Polk and the RTi Line...not that I have a dog in that race... ;)

I betcha he'll family will enjoy it just as much as some of us enjoy our high priced audio toys.

Again, I think thats cool that Liam uses Polk. Its kind of like Warren Buffet living in his modest house refusing to dole out real allowance money.

If its a good sounding speaker, what more do you need and how much more do you need to spend?

Before it took you straight to the page - which is why the link would be considered non-working.

They probably took the article off in respect to Natasha Richardson i would imagine - this article was the first thing i thought of when i saw the news. Kinda makes you think.

No, that's not it. When I tried to follow the link a couple of days ago, it took me to the SV home page and I could not find the article no matter what search terms I used. I went back just now and the link took me straight to the article. Must be a glitch in their website or the server.
