Just ordered this to be used as a Centre channel by connecting the pair in series.... to get 8ohms, is this a good idea, planning to make a small box with a port, dont know whether it will work, anybody used car speakers for HT, please advice, also what size box shud i build, and shoud i connect the speaker wire output form avr to both crossover in series or any ohter connection is possible.

mmm some thoughts from the experienced diy and audio technical backround guys should be able to answer this, dont know how it may sound but very interested to know the results.
