I just got a used but in awesome condition copy of The Doors Strange Days on vinyl. The copy is on the Electra brown/gold label which indicates a very early release. It sounds excellent and I was blown away by how much of this recording I had never heard on cd. Anyway, the really interesting thing is the seller (Ebay) did not tell me that it was a mis-press of sorts. Both sides have the same side one label on them. The side two tracks are correct but the label is for side one. Do you think I might have a more valuable collectors item here? It actually completes my Jim Morrison era Doors studio recording collection as I already have the other 5 records. It was just kind of a cool suprise to stumble on what might be yet another collectors item. Some of you may remember my good fortune with the AC/DC Black Ice mispress records I found and sold for a gigantic profit. Any thoughts?
