Lsi15 Grill - Cloth Separating

On my LSi15 Right, the cloth is detaching from the grill at the very top center (corners are fine). It is not tearing but it looks like the glue(?) is not holding and the cloth is slowly pulling away. No damages other than ungluing itself.

Any solutions? Reglue it? If so, with what? Call Polk support for replacement grill? Original owner (will have to look for the receipt).

Thx

Nuts. maybe I should have written in the Troubleshooting section.

my LSi9 did that too. I put a dab of superglue, it does the trick but you can see it. oh well.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

i put a small amount of spray adhesive. it comes out fast so be careful.

do a couple of test sprays first.

    btw mine did it to.

I don't put mine in all the way

That sucks. I think I would go the superglue route and if that fails, then my speakers would go au'naturale (grill-less).
Do you hear that buzzing noise?

Are you using an AVR to power your LSi15s? LSi speakers need lots of power, otherwise their grill cloth can become unglued. You need at least 200W/ch to keep the grills intact.

Yeah, I'm running 200WPC "c.w." to my LSi15's -- 400WPC IHF dynamic power, to be exact. Actually, my grilles are fine, but the eardrums are gradually becoming detached. Would you recommend superglue for them, too?

Congratulations. It sounds as if you are correctly using your LSi speakers in order to protect their grills. However, for your detached eardrums I would suggest putting Ding Dongs, or Twinkies, in your ears for stability, and proper sound attenuation.
