I have 1 of these MIT AVt-2 1 Meter Interconnects left. I was going to keep it in play, but decided to replace it with a Shotgun. It was gently used between my CD player and preamp, but you would never know it by looking at it. Its sound won't change much with use as it's pretty well burned in with about 400 hours on it.

It is in the original package as pictured below.

I don't want to break the pair so the first $89 PayPal (shipping included) gets it.

    The IC's have been sold. Thanks for all of the interest.

    The longest end of the cable connects to the "source" and the shortest end of the cable (end closest to the large box) connects to the "destination".

    The box contains the "magic". Few have every torn one apart to see what's inside as you have to break it to do so and no one wants to destroy their cables.

    MIT uses extremely advanced concepts to electronically balance capacitance, inductance and resistance. What's in the box is probably worth just a few bucks, but the R&D that determined what to put there is worth millions.

    Quick question you said

    "The longest end of the cable connects to the "source" and the shortest end of the cable (end closest to the large box) connects to the "destination".

    My Audio quest is the exact opposite. the box goes by the source ( cd Player) and the longer end goes to the preamp. OK so with these, the long end goes to the CD and the short goes to the pre?

    No.

    The short end would go to the CD player, and the long end to your pre.
    The box should be next to your CD player, or Amp, etc. The long end goes to you're pre, or AVR, etc.

    :confused:FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS for ONE-METER of CABLE????:eek::eek::eek:

    I love my audio, but how is it possible to hear that much difference from a piece of wire? I run Monster cable picked up cheap and I cannot hear a difference between it and the cheepo rca that usde to come with gear when it came from the factory... can anyone tell me what I am supposed to hear?:confused:
    The Gear... Carver "Statement" Mono-blocks, Mcintosh C2300 Arcam AVR20, Oppo UDP-203 4K Blu-ray player, Sony XBR70x850B 4k, Polk Audio Legend L800 with height modules, L400 Center Channel Polk audio AB800 "in-wall" surrounds. Marantz MM7025 stereo amp. Simaudio Moon 680d DSD

    What's the difference between a $600 amp and a $1,000 or a $600 speaker and a $1,000 speaker?

    If you own Polk's (even if you bought used) you're in the $1,000 value range, not the $600. Why cheat yourself with your cables. They really are a "component" if you think about it.

    I will post up a review between the 2 when i have a shot but i can say, Between my aq sidewinder and the MIT, the highs on the MIT is wayyyy better, Like someone took a blanket off my tweeters. Now between the mit and the Columbian,,,, there is a difference that I can hear every time.

    I will start a new thread when I have a shot.
