Bass reflector
I have a vm 20 and 2 vm 30's. I hear nothing from the bass reflector, should I?
the vm 30 has 4 of them, I should here as the info says deep base. Is ther a test to do to make sure they are working and not defective, they are new but will return if broke.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Are you 100% certain that you are playing tracks that have bass? Also, are your speakers wired all in phase correctly?~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~

What are you using to power your speakers?
If you are using a receiver to power them make sure your speaker setting for the fronts is set to LARGE (assuming you have the VM30s for the fronts). When set to small the lower bass frequencies are not sent to the front speakers. You can also check your speaker wire to make sure they are hooked up properly. If you have your speaker wire reversed it will be out of phase resulting in low bass response. -
well , being that they are new, i just posted the pics to the show case, I am running a onkyo 805, brand new monster cable 16G? speaker wire,. the onkyo system does not give you the large/ small config like other receivers, and the + and - are connected properly. But tell me, What should i hear, and feel when i place my hand on the bass reflector(radiator)? Thanks

Set the crossover frequency for "full band". That's the equivalent of setting the speaker to large on the Onk's.The nirvana inducer-
