How do these sound to the A9's? are they just the same but the cabnets?

A9's sound slightly better due to the cabinet and crossover that mellows out the tweeter a bit. The 12's tweeter like the 10's was a little harsh. Someone has already snapped these up. Good deal.

Yeah they were, but i got rid of my 10's for the A7's, i don't wanna go back down to the RTi, i wanna stay with RTi A's. Because if i bought them, then i'd just still want the A9's... lol

At least when i get the A9's i'll be at the top of the RTi A series with all my speakers, and the upgrade bug will subside for a while, hopefully.;)

The only one you are fooling is yourself. It's a disease.

Isn't it just a bit surprising how fast this stuff is selling in this economic environment, even at bargain pricing? Or is it just me that's wondering where all that money is surfacing from.

metal, if you get the A9s, you'll only be happy for about 20 minutes. Keep what you have, buy a house and then start upgrading subs :p.

    Combo rig:

Onkyo NR1007 pre-pro, Carver TFM 45(fronts), Carver TFM 35 (surrounds)
    SDA 1C, CS400i, SDA 2B

    LOL...I want that 20 mins! :p

I plan on selling my A7's to offset the cost, if i can ever find any A9's. Then, there is nowhere else for me to go with the RTi A series, and i honestly feel i'll be happy for quite some time with my speakers. Some may disagree, but that's how i feel! :p;):D

Buying a house and "upgrading subs" is a wonderful idea though! Luckily, me and my fiancee have a savings account just for a house, which i absolutely will not touch to acquire audio gear. ;)

I've been saving lots of money over the last 2 years and now that everything is dirt cheap i bought a house, new speakers, amplifier, etc... Buy low sell high :D
