Switch?!

I was wondering if anyone had advice for me on installing a toggle switch to turn my amp on and off. I have a one year old baby girl and I don't think she would like all that bumping going on right behind her when she is riding in my jeep. Is it dangerous to have your remote wire on a toggle? Do I need fuse protection? Can anyone recommend a type of switch I can use for this type of application?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, just install a toggle switch inline with your remote wire and call it a day. Most people don't fuse remote wires, but if you want to , you can. Just use the lowest amperage fuse you can get. The remote line only uses a couple hundred milliamps.
