well here's the story, got the upgrade bug and want, need, new speakers. first a little background, 95% of the time i listen to mostly 2 channal music, and the occasional movie, here is what i have now, front, monitor 12s, center, cs400i, backs are lsi7s, my system is a TGII pre amp and a carver TFM35 for the monitor 12s and a carver av806x for the center and rears, bi amped. the question i have is what to get to replace the monitors with? i really love the 12s but they seem to be missing something, they have been upgraded with the rdo198s, i want to get more into the LSI series and am thinking LSI25s or 15s, or should i get some LSI9s and a sub? i must say that i am not really crazy about subs for two channal listening but its been a while since i had one. so what do you guys think would be best option for my set up? im not afraid to spend a little coin on the deal. sorry for the long post but i just wanted to give you all the info so i could get informed advice.

Redo the XO's and tweeters unless they are peerless.

there is only one thing to do in your case.... go big or go home!:p I refer of couse to getting SDA's in as big a size as is possible for your home. the TFM-35 you have will have more than enough kick to keep them happy! And your ears will thank you.

I would... and will help in a polk delivery system if you find a set that needs to get there... and out in the middle of nowhere means you should get the SDA-SRS 1.2 TL's

Go large, or go home doesn't work for everyone. I am listening to some good tunes down low right now. Some nice monitors, a clean tube amp, and some vinyl would be nice. I love my setup, but a moddest system with good components goes a long way. Monitor 12's are very nice. Not small by any means;)
