Just hooked up the MIT EXp-1's that i got from Greg, it was hard for me to give these a shot as the Audioquest type 4 wire i had hooked up had there burn time in, and sounded great. but i wanted to put these to the test. so far ok i guess, but i need to give them time to burn in. they are harsh to say the least. i really like the way the AQ's sounded after time. Hope to get the same result's on these if not better.

They need to burn in...........revist this thread in a couple weeks. Don't come to a hasty conclusion."Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. Differentiation by numbers is for those who do not".--Nelson Pass Pass Labs XA25 | EE Avant Pre | EE Mini Max Supreme DAC | MIT Shotgun S1 | Puritan Audio PSM136 Pwr Condtioner & Classic PC's | Legend L600 | Roon Nucleus 1 w/LPS - Tubes add soul!

Oh I havent come to a hasty conclusion, I know how the AQ TYPE 4 sounded befor burn time. It's just harder this time cause the sound i was getting from the AQ's was killer now that they settled in. -

I'm happy with my MIT's.
I'd still love to try those AQT4 cables one day though, considering they were on my list of choices.
