Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee

I don't know if any of you have ever heard of this elephant sanctuary in Hohenwald, TN, but they are doing some amazing work there--lots to read about:

    This group used to be located just a few miles from my house. The area began to get too populated and the residents worried about the cats, forcing them to move further away to a more rural area. The large fences from the original complex have just recently been torn down and an apartment building was built. It seems their neighbors in Kingston are now complaining. However... "As of July 2009, the TWRA (Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency) records indicate that Tiger Haven has undergone 56 inspections since 1999. At no time were there any conditions noted that constituted a threat to public safety." To the best of my knowledge, in the nearly 20 years they have been around a big cat has never gotten outside the complex.
