Messed up Picture on Samsung Plasma

I have a 58" Samsung 650 plasma and have noticed a problem with the picture recently. THe issue is that there seems to be hotspots on faces and whites while watching blu-rays or HDTV. The hotspots seem to be surrounded by a fine red line some of the time and this is making me crazy since the TV is 2 months old. I have adjusted the settings about ten different times but still cant seem to get them to go away. The real issue is that this only happens on certain BD's or HD channels. I watched Ironman last night and the picture is amazing. I am wondering if it has to do with movies that were not origionally shot in HD and were converted to blu ray. IDK but any help would be appreciated. thanks guys.

Go to AVSforum, Search the Plasma sub-forum for your model, and see what other owners are saying. If someone gives out their 'calibrated' settings, try those and see if that helps at all. I suspect you either have the settings too 'hot' (ie: torch mode), or there is a problem with the set.
