    Not at 2500!

    Bill

Do you think there is another pair of speakers in the $2,500. range that sounds as good? I don't think anyone should pay that much just curious.

Those look pretty nice...Though it does look like there's a stain of some kind on one of the PR's. That could just be the pictures though.

2500 dollars is like two times the average selling price of SRS's though.

That' the same group that puts out Focal speakers, right. Because those drivers look identical to the sandwich glass layered Focals and the aluminum/mag alloy inverted domes?

    Hey Noel
I know you know this but thought I'd say it anyway.
Just because the 1.2's have more drivers and are larger does not mean they sound better in all applications.

    There's no SDA that's worth over 1K.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

The SDA SRSs(the one's in the ad), SRS 1.2s, and SRS 1.2TLs are all the same size, just updated versions of the previous. 4 tweets, 8 mids, 15" passives and iirc 185 lbs each.

If I got that wrong, someone tell me.

But you're right that just because they're bigger than 2.3s(TL), SRS 2s, 1Cs, etc, doesn't mean they are right for everyone's situation by any means.:)
