I currently Have a full set of LSI.

I am thinking of getting LSI 7's for the rears, to complete my home theater in a 7.1 configuration..

Couple of Questions:
Should I have the LSI 7's in the Rear or the sides?

Or should I move the LSIFX to the Rears?

When you guys are mounting the surround speakers.. Do you tilt the speakers at say a 45 degree angle to point directly at the listener?
If you do have the surround speakers mounted at an angle, what speaker mounts are you using?

Because the speakers come with wall mount screw holes.., but then they are pointing directly across.....

So now the mounting questions are done...

What about power..
I have a Cinenova Grande 5 channel.. I will need to get a 2 channel amp or monoblocks. I will most likely get Outlaw Audio m2200 monoblocks for the rear channels..

Now should I put the LSI FX on the Cinenova or Should I have the LSI 7's Powered by Cinenova?

This is a plan for this summer, Just looking at idea's and what I should do...

My LSI FX's are currently on the side, pointing directly across not angled... I am thinking of angling them...

LSis in the rear would be perfect, you could use a wall mount to angle them down to the listerning position. My setup is similar, only in RTi setup. FXi3 wall mounted using the keyhole in the bracket, while using Rti4 as my rears mounted on a Btech 77 wall mount. The Btech would allow you to aim the speaker just right based my own personal experience as it has pretty good tilt flexibilty.

As for amp put the new rear speakers on the Outlaws, either way should be fine, but no sense in rewiring anything thats already on the Earthquake.

I use my fxs as side surrounds and 7s in the rear. I found that sound tracks use the front 3 speakers the most, then the side speakers maybe 1/10th as much. And the rears even 1/10th less than that, even with 7.1 tracks. The fxs are much more versatile and capable than the 7s. So putting the less capable 7s in the rear works best. And I would use the least capable amplification for them as well. I have amplifiers with meters on them and if the front 3 are running an average of 10 watts, the sides hover around 1-3 watts, and the rears don't even register a lot of the time. I just ran them off my AVR I was using as a pre before I got a set of outlaws for them. Just my two cents anyways based on the workout most sound tracks give them.

I prefer FX speakers set to Dipole on the sides, just slightly behind your seating with direct speakers used in the rear corners aimed at the left and right edges of your seating area.
