Both MKZ and Hobbyguy (pm'd me) replied at the exact same time for the MIT S3's so I flipped a coin and Hobbyguy won. Sorry, MKZ. MIT S3 Sale pending to Hobbyguy.

i am setting up a system with:
    Onkyo 806
    2 x LSI9
    1 x LSIC
    2 x Cheap Surrounds

I'm interested in the C270 to drive the 9s, but if i do that, would that allow the receiver to drive the center fully, or would i need another amp? And if i need another amp, does that mean that i'm going to have some sound issues driving them off different amps? Or would i be best served just getting a 3 channel / 5 channel amp?

    Thanks!
Not my setup - but what I have put together for a friend (i.e. what mine would be if i had the money to invest :D )
    Front: 2 x LSI-9
    Center: LSI-C
    Rear: 4 x M10
    Sub: Elemental Design A2-300
    AVR: Onkyo TX-SR806
    Amp: Acurus 200x3
    BD: HTPC
    Television Programming: Dish ViP722
    Video: Epson 6500UB Front Projector

It looks like your Onkyo (TX-SR806 I assume) has pre-outs so it would work fine. In the reciever you would calibrate the output levels so that the front, and center SPL levels are the same. The NAD also has a gain adjustment on the input so you can further tweak the volume if needed. The thing you should know is that the NAD is not controlled by a remote, either you turn it on manually or you can use a 12 Volt trigger - not sure if the Onkyo has one of these. I drove my HT with the NAD for the fronts and my receiver doing the center and surrounds and never had any sound mismatch issues.

Thanks Polkitup2 - I'm still considering, but for the moment i'm going to hold off and see what i might be able to find on a 5 channel amp to drive the whole thing, in case i decide to go LSI7s for surround - i'd rather do the amp purchase once

    Good luck!
