It's fairly simple. First, make sure you remove the jumpers between the two pairs of binding posts on the back of the speakers. Run the front channel outputs of your AVR to the top pair of binding posts(mid/tweeter) and the surround back outputs to the bottom pair of binding posts(woofers). Go to the speaker set up menu and switch it to "bi-amp".
That being said, don't expect a huge difference in sound. It's not truly bi-amping with that method. In fact, you won't be driving the speakers with any more power at all. The power from all of the channels is still coming from the same power block, so it isn't getting doubled by hooking it up to multiple pairs of outputs. "Bi-wiring" is a more proper term.
Some people have reported very minor improvements with this method, but most people have reported no improvements at all, and that it was, in fact, not even worth the cost of extra speaker wire.
If you have extra wire laying around, try it by all means. You might see some improvements, but I wouldn't go and spend the money on extra wire if you don't have it already. That money would be much better spent on something else.
