Give me a break. Looks like somebody is trying to cash in on Mall Cop's success with his own version. And it looks pretty freaking horrible.

Seth Rogan is the new Jack Black. Some fat guy that thinks he's funny but is not yet still manages to get lots of parts in movies.

I suppose its possible that Im just too old to appreciate his comedic genius but after being raised on Caddyshack and Fast Times at Ridgemont High I think Ive got a pretty good idea of what a good comedy should be.

Its possible its a total ripoff, but then again, basing a comedy around the activities of a mall rent a cop is not the most unique idea ever either.

I like Seth Rogan's movies, but he is far from a polished comedian/actor. Excluding Superbad, his movies could use a good deal of refining, but I think they are pretty funny overall.

We do not have a single good comedian like; Chase, Candy, Dangerfield, Martain..etc. All those guys were great years ago, unfortunately the last of the greats. These so-called comedians we have now, all suck and I mean all.
    If...
Ron dislikes a film = go out and buy it.
Ron loves a film = don't even rent.

I'm not really to big on Seth Rogan's acting. I thought Superbad was a pretty bad movie personally. I thought it was funny the first time I watched it, but then I watched it a second time, and really didn't find it funny anymore. Seth Rogan's brand of humor just doesn't appeal to me I guess...

In regards to him being the new Jack Black? I think Jack Black is way funnier than Seth Rogan...he's not my favorite either, but he does have some pretty good movies. School of Rock was good, the new King Kong was...ok...The Pick of Destiny was freakin hilarious...

It is but I think he's right mostly.

I cant think of anybody right now Id point to as a funny MF'er. Now go back 20 years ago and I can point to several comedic geniuses!

Its gotten to the point where I dont even go see comedies anymore.

Now the cartoon movies seem to crack me up pretty good. They actually seem to rely on comedy rather than embarrassing/uncomfortable situations. The Incredibles, Wall-E, Madagascar and such were actually funny. Knocked Up, Dont Mess with the Zohan? Puh-leeze.

I guess we all have our different preferences. When I think of modern hilarious comedians, I think of Dave Chappelle.

Hollyweird SUX, PERIOD!!! I can count on both hands the # of movies I've liked, in the past 5 years.

    Incredibles
    Hitman
    Transformers
    X-Men, all 3
    The Prestige.

Hollywood has gotten SOOOOO politicized. I can't even tolerate their stupid commercials.
And most of the 'big' comedians just seem to be phoning it in.

Where is the 'Blazing Saddles', 'Yellowbeard', 'Slapshot'??????
I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE!
