Phish might not be the most popular band on CP but I won't feel bad if you call me a fanboy!~:p

I've never really been a Phish fan...I'm going to see them later this year though. One of my buddies had an extra ticket, and I figured "why not?". He sold it to me for real cheap...so I'll have a good time.

Which show? I'm hitting up MA, NY and NJ. Trying to swing WI too we'll see.

Even if it's not for you I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Aaah I suspect Deer Creek based on being in IL. Deer Creek to Alpine was the original plan but think we are cutting down to just Alpine.

I have fond memories or lack of memories at Deer Creek!!!

Deer Creek. I should still manage to have a good time, even though Phish isn't among my favorite bands. A bunch of my friends are going, and I fully intend on not remembering the show afterwards...lol

    You'll have a blast!

I was never really a huge fan, by any stretch, though I have most of their older CDs. But about a decade ago -- yup summer of '99 -- I saw them in Charlotte, NC -- 4th row, if memory serves, at Blockbuster Pavilion -- and they rocked. The most memorable part of the show was when they busted into the "Sprach Zarathustra" from 2001: A Space Oddysey. Incredible...a near outer body experience.

I had seen them a few times before and one time since and they always put on great shows -- definately a live band -- but that was the coolest. Hopefully they haven't lost much over the past decade.

Oh yeah, I'll have a good time there. More for the party than anything else though. I've honestly always found Phishes music kind of annoying personally. Not all of it, but the majority.

The Grateful Dead are having a reunion tour this year...which is what I'm really looking forward to. They're my favorite band(arguably)...and I've never seen them before, so I can't wait. It's coming up pretty soon...May 5th. It sucks though, it's at the Rosemont, which is a basketball stadium, if you didn't know. I'd rather see them at Deer Creek...Charter One Pavillion in downtown Chicago, or even Alpine Valley in WI. Oh well...I'll still go to that one and have an awesome time no matter where it is.

The Dead are comin here to Worcester MA. Will probably go down to try to score a ticket cheap but they kind of pissed me off with $100 tix. That is BS. Jerry won't even be there!! I'm a big fan of Warren but still $100 is over the top.

Yeah...that kinda pissed me off too. The tickets here are about 85-90 bucks for the nosebleed section...and like you said, Jerry obviously isn't even going to be there. I'm a fan of Warren Haynes too...but he's no Jerry Garcia by any means.

I've never seen them though, and this could be my last opportunity to, so I'm not gonna miss it. It sucks though, no Jerry, 90 dollar tickets, and a basketball stadium. I'd rather see them outdoors somewhere...it would be a million times better.
