Does anyone here own one of these, if so, what are your impressions of it?

    Metal

I own the 4000. It does a great job for both music and HT. The size is what sold me on this sub, I didn't want a big 150lb sub that takes up alot of room.

I have the 3000. Using it in my 2 channel rig now, but also did extensive testing in the HT and it did great. It is an excellent sub and I have thought of getting another to have the stereo pair.

    Thanks guys.

The 3000 is currently on Polk Direct, which is one reason why i am considering it. Plus i like that it's not huge as well, space is a little limited since i'm in an apt. I'd be mainly using it for HT, not sure if i'd use it when i'm listening to 2 channel music, though of course i'd try it out.

Have you ever seen the 4000 on their ebay store?

If the price stays around $500, it looks like a steal.

    Combo rig:

Onkyo NR1007 pre-pro, Carver TFM 45(fronts), Carver TFM 35 (surrounds)
    SDA 1C, CS400i, SDA 2B
    PB13Ultra RO
    BW Silvers
    Oppo BDP-83SE

I missed out on this. The bidding ended early this morning and i didn't wake up in time, go figure. It ended up going for $755, so actually maybe it's a good thing i didn't wake up. I wanted a steal, not just a good deal! :D

Maybe luck was really in your favour. The Micropro 4000 is the one you really want. Me too.

    You know, you're probably right.
I'd have the 3000, and knowing myself i'd eventually want the 4000. ;)
